The Aroostook Partners in the Arts (APA) sponsorship application process. We hope that these guidelines will make it easy for you to apply for funding while in the planning stages of your artistic learning experience. APA requests follow-up information and sharing to further public knowledge of our group and mission.

Sponsorship applications will be reviewed and voted on at the monthly board meeting following receipt of the online application form. The Aroostook Partners in the Arts (APA) understands most requests for funding and for supplies. Please fill out the application the best you can. We will review and vote on applications at our monthly meetings. Sponsorship recipients will be notified via email after decision meetings.

  • Projects and/or groups will be funded once per fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
  • In most cases, sponsorships will not exceed $600.
  • Should your sponsorships application be approved, your check will be mailed to you one month before your event. If funding is needed before this time, please let us know.
  • Upon receipt of funds, Aroostook Partners in the Arts requests recognition as a sponsor.
  • Notification of performances and/or project work is requested so a representative of APA can be present.
  • Should photos and/or videos be posted on social media, APA requests are tagged or mentioned in comments.
  • Recipients submit a brief summary of the project and photos within one month of project completion. This summary and photography may be shared on the APA Facebook page and other publicity opportunities.
