The Aroostook Partners in the Arts expanded our Crayons and Care Program in 2023 to include Homeless Services of Aroostook and the Hope & Justice Project.
The APA previously created and ddistributed age appropriate art supplies and books to children in foster care in Aroostook County. This extension of the project allows more impact for children in Aroostook.
In 2022, the Aroostook Partners in the Arts created and distributed 50 bags of art supplies and age appropriate books to foster children in Aroostook County. Our expansion in 2023 added an additional 30 bags to be distributed between Homeless Services of Aroostook and the Hope and Justice Project.
